HR Generalist, Almaty 

The main goal of the role is to carry out effectively and smoothly the People related processes (recruitment, employee experience, HR operations).

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • being the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding People related policies, processes and procedures;

  • sourcing and recruiting great talent for our local team, following the hiring process defined and conducting screenings;

  • managing the population in scope in all People systems;

  • managing documentation for current and new hires: contracts, legal documentation, personal information, etc.;

  • coordinating the visa process when required;

  • collecting and maintaining day to day information from employees: sick leaves, holidays, bank account changes, modifications of hours, salaries, etc.;

  • collaborating together with other teams and learning from each other;

  • providing the employees with relevant, engaging experiences inside and outside the office, including team building, office management (when there is no office manager) and other events (Culture Day, Summer Party, etc).

Required experience and skills:

  • at least 3 years experience in the HR Generalist role;

  • English – fluent (written and spoken);

  • degree in HR, Business or similar – would be a plus;

  • ability to work in a fast-paced, growing start-up environment and work with all levels of management;

  • customer service orientation;

  • great communication skills;

  • an empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude;

  • organization skills, proactivity, and creativity;

  • a passion to make a positive impact on the life of millions of people through technology.
