Financial Operations and Reporting Lead, Kyiv
In this role you will be responsible for:
manage preparation of corporate financial reporting package in accordance with IFRS;
lead and optimize the month-end reporting process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tight deadlines;
perform in-depth analysis of financial results, identifying underlying trends and providing insightful explanations for variances;
enhance system of internal controls, elevating the financial integrity and compliance of our operations;
drive improvements and implementation of business processes in finance, accounting, and reporting, aligning them with organizational objectives;
participate actively in the budgeting and forecasting process, contributing to the strategic financial planning of the business;
deliver regular management reports on business performance, offering critical insights for informed decision-making;
respond effectively to inquiries from internal stakeholders and external service providers, ensuring robust financial support;
foster collaboration within the finance team and across departments to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting.
Required experience and skills:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting;
5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
background in Big4 accounting firms, with a minimum of 3 years – highly desirable;
professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent, either completed or in the final stages - would be a significant advantage;
a solid grasp of accounting principles and a strong business acumen;
proven experience in management accounting and financial reporting;
proficiency in English, both written and spoken;
strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Excel (incl. Power Query);
a deep understanding of business processes and a keen eye for identifying and eliminating inefficiencies;
excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly;
capacity to manage workload effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
