Brand Manager, Kyiv



International FMCG company.


Responsibilities:
  • own brand consistency in marketing, product and trade initiatives, acting as a brand guardian for the whole business and ensuring best practices are communicated;
  • deliver the brand part of the business plan;
  • continuously explore opportunities to strengthen brand connection within target consumers while justifying its premium positioning;
  • work closely with the marketing team, regional team and International HQ specialists to share learnings, best practices, to align plans, share latest updates and insights;
  • measure marketing activities to understand their effectiveness in order to make short- and long-term optimisation. Control brand expenditure and make suggestions & adjustments to ensure budget is spent with best possible return across all marketing initiatives;
  • develop local advertising plans, implement and analyze them, ensuring global and local standards and best practices are met;
  • lead and manage creative and media agencies in line with established processes to achieve impactful campaigns on time and efficiently;
  • create branding and through the line communication for specific marketing projects in strong collaboration with the respective marketing functions;
  • develop and implements the ideal country-specific advertising plan ensuring international and local learnings, taking best practices into consideration and with the right level of digital and social media integration;
  • work closely with the Digital Manager to amplify the impact of advertising on own, earned and paid media channels;
  • take a central role when we launch new products, working closely with our global team to create the right materials, planning the launch in stores/venues with our sales teams and delivering cross-marketing campaigns to drive awareness and trial;
  • be the eyes, ears, and voice of the consumer – turn market and consumers data into compelling insights which are actionable and relevant, and ensure these insights are addressed through adequate ideas and plans;
  • manage communication of consumer motivations, behavior, and results to the marketing team and within the company.


Required experience and skills:

  • at least 4 years of successful experience in managing strong international FMCG brand;
  • clear understanding of competitor activity and consumer behavior in a brand and FMCG context;
  • ability to connect the dots on how market and consumer trends can be leveraged to drive business results;
  • highly efficient and effective project management skills;
  • proactive leader, innovative, open-minded, self-conscious, motivated, positive, problem solver, team player;
  • an entrepreneurial ‘can-do’ attitude facilitated by continuous learning and application of appropriate ‘best practices’;
  • high standard of integrity with a passion for the brand and commitment to company values;
  • ability to focus and follow through on priorities and deliver quality results;
  • knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.;
  • English – upper Intermediate+.
